(on-campus computers within the uconn.edu domain) is now available via two means:
- The proxy server, which allows access to web-based resources, and for which configuration and use instructions are available at http://helpdesk.uconn.edu/trouble/proxy/proxyconfig.html and
- VPN (at http://vpn.uconn.edu), which allows access to web-based resources as well as other electronic resources requiring a separate client (such as Beilstein and SciFinder Scholar), for which configuration and use instructions are available at http://security.uconn.edu/guides/vpn.html.
